What happens in a consultation?

Generally, when we meet for the official consultation, I ask that the client bring all labeled medications and supplement bottles so I can thoroughly review them. I'm not a pharmaceutical expert, so I need some time to research the side effects of the meds to see if this is part of the problem. (Changes to your medications occur with the doctor who prescribed them.) I use the paperwork you fill out, which I send via email or give in a hard copy, to get more information about your habits and health history.
There is always a food overhaul to balance out the body and reduce inflammation. Absolute "NOs" are sugar and alcohol, white flour, and some heavily oxalate-rich/lectin/phytate-rich plant foods. I provide a sample menu to follow, and can help you with an app called "Cronometer" to better track that you are eating enough food. Or, you can do this manually, and I can help you understand the easiest way. It usually takes three months on a different route to get results, but most people feel better sooner once the body adjusts to the new way. That is usually two weeks. Some specific supplements may be recommended to support your goals.
If we do Iridology to get more information, I will review your inherent constitution, which also tells me what your body prefers and needs most.
A full program at $180 or $200 includes a half-hour of follow-up per week for three months to support you in your changes and adjust as needed, answer questions, or do more research for your program.
Other referrals to practitioners may be needed. Other supportive naturopathic therapies or additions to the food and supplement plans may also be given, with handouts.
If you are on insulin, your doctor would need to see the menu and program to adjust as needed.
